A Stripology Class with Rachel Joines
Join certified Stripology instructor Rachel Joines for Prisms, a striking geometric quilt from the Stripology Squared book that’s perfect for quilters ready to build confidence with Stripology rulers and precision cutting techniques.
This experienced beginner-friendly class focuses on creating crisp, accurate blocks while learning helpful cutting, organizing, and piecing methods that make quilting more efficient and enjoyable. The design may look intricate, but with the help of Stripology tools and Rachel’s step-by-step guidance, students will discover just how approachable this quilt can be.
Prisms is precut 10" square friendly and includes multiple size options, making it easy to personalize your project. Strong fabric contrast is encouraged to help the prism effect stand out beautifully and keep the overall design crisp and visually balanced.
The Stripology Squared Ruler or Stripology XL Ruler will both work well for this project, and students can receive guidance using either ruler throughout class.
Class instruction runs from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, followed by optional open sew time until the instructor leaves and the shop closes at 4:00 PM. Students are welcome to stay, practice their new skills, ask questions, and enjoy extra sewing time with fellow quilters.
Since this is a longer class day, feel free to bring snacks, drinks, or a sack lunch to enjoy while sewing.

Class Cancellation Policy: We get it—plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.If you're feeling ill on the day of class, please call the shop before class begins. We care about the health of our quilting community and will gladly issue a store credit so you can join us when you’re well.
