A Stripology Skill-Builder Block of the Month

Inspired by the dramatic rhythm and movement of Iceland’s rugged landscape, Echoes of Iceland is a striking 10-month Block of the Month designed to build confidence, accuracy, and fluency with Stripology rulers—one beautifully constructed block at a time.

This program is intentionally designed as a Stripology skill builder, making it ideal for confident beginners who are ready to strengthen their cutting and piecing skills while creating a quilt with bold visual impact. Each month focuses on efficient cutting, clean construction, and thoughtful repetition, helping techniques feel more natural and intuitive as the months progress.

Participants receive a beautiful, full-color printed pattern booklet, guiding you step by step through the entire quilt. The cumulative structure of the BOM allows skills to build gradually, reinforcing what you’ve learned while introducing new variations along the way.

Two Ways to Participate

Echoes of Iceland is offered in two identical formats, so you can choose the experience that fits your schedule and learning style:

• In-Person – Learn alongside fellow quilters in our classroom, with hands-on instruction and community support.
• Virtual (Live via Zoom) – Join from anywhere and learn in real time. Rachel will be teaching live and taking questions during the Zoom session, just like being in the room.

The instruction, content, and learning experience are the same in both formats—the only difference is how you attend.

• Skill Level: Confident Beginner
• Focus: Stripology skill building
• Tools: Stripology rulers are strongly recommended to get the most out of this class and fully benefit from the techniques taught.

Block of the Month (BOM) Cancellation & Billing Policy

Registration in a Block of the Month (BOM) program reserves your place for the full duration of the series and indicates agreement to the following terms:

• The registration fee is non-refundable and secures your spot in the program.
• Participants agree to monthly invoicing of $49.99 (+ tax) for each month’s fabric kit.
• A separate invoice will be issued each month for the fabric kit associated with that month’s block.
• Fabric kits are cut and allocated specifically for registered participants.

Important Commitment Notice:

There are no cancellations after February 1. Registration constitutes agreement to payment in full for all remaining months of the program, regardless of participation or completion.

This policy allows us to accurately plan fabric ordering and cutting and ensures fairness to all participants in this limited-space program.
