A Monthly Sewing Club

We’re excited to relaunch our popular Saturday sewing club—formerly known as Featherweight Club—as Make & Take Saturday!
This monthly club is all about easy wins and creative fun. Bring your sewing machine (all machine types are welcome!) and enjoy making a small project from start to finish during class. Each month features a different project, so you can jump in whenever it fits your schedule—no long-term commitment required.
Make & Take Saturday is designed to be social, relaxed, and approachable, with plenty of guidance, encouragement, and sewing time. Whether you’re looking to sharpen your skills, try something new, or simply enjoy a Saturday of stitching with others, this club is a perfect fit.
How It Works
- Meets on the 2nd Saturday of each month
- All sewing machines welcome
- Complete a small project each month
- Each month is registered individually
- Formerly Featherweight Club, now refreshed and expanded

A Quick Note About Class Supplies: Your class fee covers instruction only—supplies are sold separately. You’ll receive a supply list by email outlining what you’ll need for class. 🌟Many of the items will be available at Cactus Quilt Shop, and registered students receive 10% off all class-related purchases after signing up!
Class Cancellation Policy: We get it—plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.If you're feeling ill on the day of class, please call the shop before class begins. We care about the health of our quilting community and will gladly issue a store credit so you can join us when you’re well.
