Celebrate summer stitching with Liberty by Villa Rosa Designs — a classic patriotic quilt that’s perfect for displaying during Independence Day celebrations and all the upcoming 250th anniversary festivities!

This beginner-friendly class is a wonderful way to build confidence while creating a quilt full of timeless Americana charm. Using fat quarters makes fabric selection easy and fun, and Rachel Joines will guide you step-by-step through the construction process in a relaxed, encouraging classroom environment.

Students will also have the option to learn techniques using the Doug Leko Simple Folded Corners Ruler for quicker, accurate folded corners. Rachel also feels the Stripology Squared Mini Ruler would be another helpful tool for this quilt and can assist students with using it throughout the project if needed.

Whether you’re sewing for your home, a parade picnic, or a festive summer gathering, Liberty is a beautiful project to have finished before the patriotic celebrations begin!

Class Cancellation Policy:  We get it—plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.If you're feeling ill on the day of class, please call the shop before class begins. We care about the health of our quilting community and will gladly issue a store credit so you can join us when you’re well.
