A Stripology Quilt Class with Rachel Joines

Get ready to play with color, movement, and layout! Hera by Gudrun Erla is a striking modern quilt with bold geometric lines and eight different design variations, giving you plenty of opportunities to make this quilt your own.

Designed for confident beginners and beyond, Hera is a great way to build your Stripology skills while exploring how fabric placement, contrast, and block arrangement can completely transform a quilt. Go scrappy, coordinated, high-contrast—or somewhere in between!

Certified Stripology instructor Rachel Joines will guide students through efficient cutting and streamlined piecing using either the Stripology XL or Stripology Squared ruler, with plenty of helpful tips along the way.

With five sizes—Crib, Lap, Twin, Full/Queen, and King—and eight layout possibilities, Hera is one of those patterns you may find yourself wanting to make more than once!

Since this is a full-day class, students are welcome to bring snacks, drinks, or a sack lunch to enjoy while sewing.

Class Cancellation Policy:  We get it—plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.If you're feeling ill on the day of class, please call the shop before class begins. We care about the health of our quilting community and will gladly issue a store credit so you can join us when you’re well.
