Painted Memories: A 4-Day Art Quilt Experience with Deb Deaton

Ready to turn your favorite photo into a one-of-a-kind work of fiber art? Join Deb Deaton for this premier 4-day deep-dive into the world of painted landscapes, layered textures, and stunning stitched details.  Class will be held February 3 thru February 6.

You’ll start by painting your background and learning Deb’s signature technique for turning a photo into a fiber art pattern—complete with cutting, layering, and building depth for dramatic results. From vibrant skies to dimensional land, you’ll explore how to bring your scene to life using specialty paints, inks, pastels, and mixed media pencils.

Once your scene is set, you’ll dive into free motion and thread painting to add movement, detail, and that final artistic touch.

🎨 Paints will be provided, and Deb’s mixed media supplies will be available to share if you don’t have your own. This class is all about experimentation, expression, and elevating your skills in a supportive, creative space.

 Your class fee covers instruction, paints, and shared use of specialty mixed media supplies. 🌵 You’ll receive a detailed supply list with the additional items you’ll need to bring.
