A Patriotic Block of the Week with Susan Baxter

Stitch your way across America one block at a time with Celebrate the USA! — a meaningful and creative 12-week Block of the Week experience designed and taught by Susan Baxter.

Each week, students will receive instruction for 1–2 new blocks while exploring the patriotic stories and inspiration behind each design. This special quilt combines classic Americana style with heartfelt storytelling, creating a project that’s both beautiful to display and enjoyable to make.

Designed for confident beginners through advanced beginners, this class includes a variety of techniques with some appliqué mixed throughout the quilt to help students build skills along the way. Susan will guide students step-by-step in a welcoming, encouraging classroom environment perfect for learning and sewing together.

Instruction will take place Wednesday afternoons from 1:30 PM–3:00 PM, with optional stay-and-sew time afterward until the shop closes at 4:00 PM. Students will also enjoy a complimentary 13th week to catch up on missed blocks, ask questions, or spend dedicated time finishing their quilt at the shop.
