Our Beginning Quilting course is designed just for you.
Over five supportive, hands-on sessions, you’ll learn the essential skills every quilter needs, including how to read a simple pattern, cut fabric accurately, and sew a tidy ¼" seam. You’ll build confidence step-by-step while creating a cheerful lap-size quilt you’ll be proud to finish.
No stress, no judgment—just learning, laughter, and a community cheering you on.
On the first day, we’ll talk color, value, and fabric choices, and you’ll have time to shop with guidance from our staff. You don’t need to bring fabric in advance—we’ll help you select the perfect palette to make your quilt shine.
Throughout the class you’ll receive helpful handouts, a beginner-friendly pattern, and plenty of expert coaching from instructor Nancy Schottler, who makes learning to quilt feel like a relaxed afternoon with friends.

Class Cancellation Policy: We get it—plans change. If you need to cancel, please do so at least 7 days before your class for a full refund. Cancellations made less than 7 days in advance are non-refundable.If you're feeling ill on the day of class, please call the shop before class begins. We care about the health of our quilting community and will gladly issue a store credit so you can join us when you’re well.
