Nancy's Sunday Sew-Ins
Sun. July. 13, and Sept. 14, 12:00 pm– 8:00 pm.
Gather your friends, a favorite project (or two), and join Nancy for an all day sewing
marathon. You’ll be surprised at how muchyou get done. Bring a treat to share. Nancy
will provide a light supper and dessert, (usually one or more of David’s delectable
home-made pies!) Fee: $20.
Appliqué for Dummies - Nancy Landon
Have you been
intimidated by applique? Worry no longer. You‘ll learn fusible
appliqué & hand blanket stitch appliqué as well as
Nancy‘s favorite odd technique. The project is a small potted
cactus wall hanging. Fee: $25.

Finishing School - Nancy Landon
You‘ve successfully completed that beautiful quilt top from class and. . . now what? Nancy Landon will teach you the final steps to a completed quilt including binding & mitered corners. Fee: $20.

Needle Turn with Sheryl Verts!
Do you
yearn to needle turn? Discover the classic art of appliqué
the traditional way & enjoy making a reproduction 1850’s baby
quilt. We will cover all the
basics including points, curves, stitches, etc. Required book discounted on first day of class. Fee: $25.

English Paper Piecing– David Landon
This very traditional hand piecing technique dates to the late 17th
century, (yes, that’s the 1600’s), when it was called
Mosaic. Quilters of the 19th and 20th cen-
turies called it “Grandmother’s Flower Garden”.
We call it fun and it’s a wonderfully portable take-along
project. Starter kit included with class fee of $15.

get your quilt to cooperate? Bring your pattern & project in for
some 911 help. We‘ll do our best to set you straight &
stitching again. Please check the calendar for 911 times & call to
make an appointment. There is no charge.
Oldies but Goodies BOM - Nancy Landon
Welcome back to the 1930's with Lori Smith sampler quilt of pieced and
appliqued blocks that makes up into a nice lap sized quilt. Let's
celebrate summer with happy fabrics and old fashioned lemonade socials.
We will only meet on the first Saturday of each month. Thursday
meetings have been discontinued. This is an easy project to join
anytime during the year. Fee: $60 for the year (includes patterns and
demonstrations.)

We are halfway through
our 13 month project and everyone's blocks are looking beautiful! This
beatuiful applique quilt consists of 25 traditional blocks surrounded
by a blazing star pieced border. The group will continue to meet on the
3rd Saturday of each month at 1:00pm. Fee: $120.

Machine Quilting - Nancy Landon
In this 2-part class, Nubin will show you simple straight and free
motion quilting so you can finish all those "UFOs" (Un-Finished
Objects) you've been saving. You must be able to drop or cover your

Hand Quilting - David Landon
David would be pleased to teach you the basics of traditional hand
quilting while you make a beautiful pre-marked wall hanging or pillow.

Christmas Angels - Nancy Landon
This little angel is made from antique quilts that have literally been
"loved-to-pieces." We recently came accross a bag of scraps from old
quiltes that are just perfect for this project, so, a class is born!
The model angel is one of our shop's "guardian" angels. Project kit
included in class fee of $30.

Southwest Pineapple - Elizabeth Roth
This small quilt is easily paper pieced and will be an instant
